The busy first half term of the year has come to a close in Ledicot. It has been a very busy week for all involved as we hosted our Show and Tell event. The event was an opportunity for us to showcase all our hard topic work we’ve produced over the past 8 weeks, as well as show off our French landmark models that we all superbly produced at home. It was fantastic to see so many parents support this event and I’m sure they will all agree it was a great afternoon! We would like to thank all parents for taking the time to help produce the amazing models and then make our event a success!
This week Airfield Class have been as busy as ever creating number five biscuits (and eating them!), playing at cafes and making 2-D shape pictures.
What a lot of learning!
Arches class have enjoyed an exciting virtual learning experience this half term and travelled around some of the most famous landmarks of our country without even leaving the classroom! The children learnt to use an exciting app called ‘google expeditions’ to explore some of our country’s landmarks. During this virtual tour we took photographs which supported the creation of digital postcards. An inspiring way to learn about history and develop our knowledge about our current topic ‘Our Country’ while also inspiring writing!
